My favorite memory of making this is how the heart was just newsprint that I painted, cut, and pasted into the painting.
There's a lot of symbolism and emotion in this one beyond the obvious. I'd start sounding more bitter and crazy than I am if I went into, though. A-Lunch (as opposed to B-lunch and C-lunch). 11th grade. Hell. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. It's fun, yet a difficult to balance sort of dance, the areas with all the different colors. Without meaning to(like you said, kind of random) I kind of went with a double complementary scheme- yellow/violet and green/red. It was very fulfilling, yeah
